“Love in Action
for the Least of These”

Discover the story behind Daddy’s Hands Ministries and why we’re building a place of hope, healing, and faith in the Philippines.

ABOUT DADDY'S HANDS MINISTRIES

Where the vision began...

The name “Daddy’s Hands Ministries” (DHM) was born from founder Mark Keener’s early memories of his father’s tough, calloused hands—hands that worked hard, loved deeply, and never gave up. Inspired by that image and the life of Jesus, Mark felt called to bring that same hands-on love to the most vulnerable. In 2018, while visiting Manila, he encountered children living on sidewalks and in cemeteries; orphans with no home, no schooling, and no hope. That moment lit a fire that became DHM.

We exist to bring faith, family, and a future to forgotten children.

Daddy’s Hands Ministries is a faith-based Christian nonprofit with a mission to care for street children in the Philippines by providing shelter, education, spiritual guidance, and vocational training, all grounded in the love and example of Jesus Christ.

Meet the Founder

Founder of Daddy's Hands Ministries, Pastor Mark Keener devotes much of his life to serving the people of the Philippines as a missionary, evangelist, and Bible teacher. When in the U.S., he serves as Assistant Pastor at The Living God Christian Fellowship Church in Los Angeles, a vibrant Filipino-American congregation.

With a diverse background that includes work in Hollywood’s motion picture industry, small business ownership, construction, commercial fishing, and healthcare, Pastor Mark brings hands-on experience and deep compassion to every part of his ministry.

He is also the author of Babylonian Insurgency: Awakening to the Truth of Hell’s Agenda, and is passionate about equipping others with the truth of God’s Word—both in the pulpit and in the streets.

THE NEED IN THE PHILIPPINES

A CRISIS WE CAN'T IGNORE

The orphan crisis in the Philippines is staggering. Although the nation’s population is just one-third the size of the United States, it has four to five times as many orphans—an estimated 1.5 to 2 million children. These vulnerable young ones live in streets, cemeteries, and riverbanks, scattered across 7,641 islands in a country roughly the size of Arizona.

Unlike much of the world, abortion is illegal in the Philippines. Yet as a developing nation, it lacks the resources to care for the overwhelming number of unwanted and abandoned children. Many grow up without homes, without access to healthcare or education, and without protection in what is considered the most disaster-prone country on earth.

These children are not just statistics. They are precious souls, exposed daily to hunger, illness, and heartbreaking exploitation. This is a crisis that demands not just awareness, but action—especially from those called to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

CHILDREN'S HOME IN THE PHILIPPINES

A FUTURE ROOTED IN HOPE

Daddy’s Hands Ministries is actively raising funds to build a children’s home in the Philippines—a place of safety, love, and opportunity for orphaned and abandoned kids. We use the term children’s home intentionally, because this will be far more than an institution. It will be a place where children are known, nurtured, and given a future.

Our vision goes beyond simply providing shelter. We aim to purchase a large piece of land where the home can thrive through self-sustaining income ventures. This includes growing food not only to nourish the children, but to sell in local markets, reducing reliance on outside support.

We also plan to build a small resort on the property—modeled after popular local day-use swimming destinations. These ventures will help cover operating costs, create local jobs, and offer the children valuable trade skills they can carry into adulthood.

By building a self-sustaining, multi-purpose campus, DHM is creating a place of resilience—capable of withstanding economic challenges while empowering the next generation with hope, stability, and purpose.

PARTNERS AND PROGRESS

WE ARE MOVING FORWARD - TOGETHER

Thanks to the generosity of faithful supporters, Daddy’s Hands Ministries has already secured 10–15% of the funding needed to bring our vision in the Philippines to life. Several potential properties have been identified—each capable of supporting the children’s home and its surrounding initiatives.

Now, we’re preparing for the next step: raising the remaining funds to purchase the land, begin construction, and equip the property with the essentials to open our doors.

Every gift brings us closer to creating a safe, hope-filled future for vulnerable children. Together, we’re building more than a facility—we’re building lives.

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
